Pico Technology oscilloscopes are supplied with PicoScope software which turns a PC into an oscilloscope, spectrum analyser and a meter. These oscilloscopes can also be used with PicoLog software for high speed data logging experiments.
PC based oscilloscopes open up many new applications in education from looking at the waveforms of musical instruments through to measuring the speed of light. PC based oscilloscopes offer many advantages over traditional benchtop instruments, ease of use, low cost, small size and portability to name a few.
Pico oscilloscopes use the PC's you already own so give large colour displays (the whole class can see) and the ability to save and print waveforms. Data can easily be exported to other Windows applications (e.g. Excel or Word) for further analysis or for writing reports. All the required software is included with the products, and free software upgrades are available from this site.
Pico has a wide range of oscilloscope products, listed below are the ones we consider to be most suited to educational use.
